This is the kind of pulp science fiction that I like, and you used my favorite group, the Rangers.

I find myself wanting to read more of this story. I want it in a book that I can put on my bookshelf and read time and time again.

P.S. You get bonus points for using @Morgthorak's GAE.

More, More, More I tell you, More.

Also, the plan is 100% to do this in a way that I can publish as a novel/collection.

Hahaha was wondering if anyone would catch the GAE reference! The Rangers were the shit, quickly becoming my favorite too.

Yes, I too find myself wanting more. And a physical form would be nice. I'm looking forward to more.

More will definitely be coming. Then plan to publish in book form. 2024 might be a big year for me publishing wise.

As much as I am enjoying publishing on Substack, I want to publish books too. Have several that I want to write/revise.

I hope it goes well for you!

Yeah I feel you. In a similar situation. Substack is a nice place too find fans and showcase work.

An enjoyable read. It checks my own boxes for plausible space opera tech, like the gyroscopic ship, and really you thought of everything here. Great idea to rebrand AI!

I read most of this at work while the power and internet were down for testing and I didn't have anything to do.
