Same for me. It is difficult to pick a favorite album from them at this point. You might want to check out A Dozen Black Roses (https://www.youtube.com/@adozenblackroses), a bit in the same Post-Hardcore vibe but chunkier.
Oh nice, I like this. There's a divide with this type of vox but I dig it. Kind of Knocked Loose-esque (vocals I mean). Guitars are kinda mid heavy for me but still sick. Old school breakdown on point.
Such a divide on these style of vocals but I have really been digging the fry scream style. Don't even need to mention my love of KL. I have been enjoying the growing style of older school hardcore blended back into the scene. Boundaries being one of my favorites.
Yeah you have to do something pretty awful for me to not like anything metal adjacent haha. I span all the subgenres. Didn't' know Boundaries. Spinning now. So far dope. I love these dumb breakdowns with the throaty vocals. I say dumb lovingly haha. Good old style headbanging.
I need to watch that documentary...
Do it. It was informative and fun to watch.
"The Background" is not only one of Third Eye Blind's best songs, it's one of the best 90's songs period.
Based and back-half-of-3eb-self-titled-pilled. Love it.
The whole record is a road trip to California album for me. Went through it like six times while my wife slept one time haha
When I got divorced from my first wife, "Motorcycle Drive By" and "God of Wine" helped keep me sane.
❤️ Great songs. What an album.
Stoked to see Counterparts on the playlist today.
One of my favorites! So much emotion in the vocals along with incredible riffing and some seriously heavy stuff too. Big fan of all their work.
