These monthly editorials will have a different focus. While I’ll continue to keep our readers updated on P3 business, I want to take the opportunity to use this platform we’ve built to highlight all the wonderful work that I’ve stumbled upon from other artists, writers, and creatives I respect.
Expect each monthly entry to include special shoutouts and highlights with a section titled, The Editor’s Recommendations.
P3 Plans This Year
Last year, I announced the magazine’s plans to dive into new ventures including physical media, audio, and other exciting projects on my list.
We’ve been hard at work developing one of those projects, specifically around audio, soon to be released this Fall 2024. Be on the lookout this summer for a formal announcement. Until then, it’s business as usual as the partners and I do our best to bring readers great fiction, poetry, essays, and more.

The Editor’s Recommendations
Jacob Calta is a rare breed. I’ve witnessed his killer work ethic and commitment to pulp speed excellence during our collaboration on an upcoming P3 project. It seems he is always working, writing, and composing something new to his body of work daily. His catalog is familiar, but fresh, building on his core influences of music, art, film, and fiction into something with heart and passion. Find his work below at 365 Infantry.
Adam Kozak is quickly becoming one of my favorite short story writers. He’s been at work publishing a story a week on his substack Adam Writes. His style is fun, heartwarming, and carries a humorous style similar to P.J. Woodhouse. His story, “Love Imitates Art”, is a personal favorite. You can read below then go on and read his backlist of other great fiction.

Pulp, Pipe, & Poetry is approaching its first birthday this summer and we’ve only just begun. As always, I’m grateful for our loyal and growing readership for investing time and support in our work. We will continue to write, publish, and experiment with new, inventive ways to keep readers entertained.
We’ve learned a lot so far, stumbled over some obstacles, and had setbacks, but I’m bullish on the future of P3 and artistic cooperatives.
I hope you’ll continue to join us.
Thank you very much for the kind words and support! Happy to see P3 is still riding high with so much on the horizon!
Thanks for the shout out Frank!
